You will find on the dashboard red notifications icon for quick access to Page activity, links to the page settings and profile and a link to manage the page managers. You can also know the number of followers on each page and when the last update made.
The old dashboard only displayed various pages managed by a user with a button for each. The looks were not very exciting as well.
